A Face you can’t forget

“Ranma! We’re late again!” said Akane.

It was another day at the Tendo dojo. Akane ran out of the house with her briefcase in one hand and breakfast in the other. Ranma placed his casual Chinese shirt on and ran out with his briefcase strapped to his back and breakfast in his mouth. He saw Akane not so far in front of him, so he jumped on top of the fence and ran to catch up.

“I tell ya, Ranma, I should leave you at home to be late, so I won’t have to suffer with you,” said Akane not looking at him.

“So do it if I’m such a responsibility for you. Beside, I hate to walk to school every morning with an uncute tomboy,” Ranma spoke with a snort.

“Ranma no baka!” Akane turned and threw her briefcase at him.

He turned to her and laughed as he dodged it. Akane was furious. She couldn’t stand the pigtailed boy being so cocky as he insulted her. He was such a jerk. Everyday, he would act this way to her at least once and they would fight. She hated him this way. Suddenly, she could see someone running on the fence going towards them.

“Nihao!”

It was the vibrant, sexy Shampoo. She jumped into the air and landed in Ranma’s arms.  As, she glomped him, he lost his balance and fell off the fence.

“Shampoo, what are you doing!” said Akane.

“Shampoo here to see Ranma! Ranma, is beautiful day. Good time to go on date, yes?” said the amazon with a cheerful smile.

Akane wasn’t going to watch Shampoo flirt with Ranma, so she turned and ran for school. Shampoo loved to see her airen. Ranma thought it was cute of her to ask for a date and be so forward, but it wasn’t the time to be having one of their fiancée times.

“Sorry, Shampoo, but I got to go to school. I’ll see you later,” replied the martial artist as he released from her and ran.

“Alright! See you later, airen,” replied Shampoo.

“I’m surprised she didn’t try to pressure me to stay with her,” thought Ranma as he gave a sigh.

Suddenly, without looking, Ranma bumped into someone. He fell to the ground as the person fell the other away.

“Oh, I’m terribly sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going!” apologized raven-haired boy.

As he looked at the person, he froze. It was a gorgeous girl. She had long dark, violet hair and maroon eyes. She wore the same school uniform as Akane and two blue bows in her hair. She jumped up and dusted herself off.

“It’s alright! I am okay, aren’t I?” The girl asked with a smile.

Ranma jumped up and nodded at her question. He picked up her briefcase and continued to look at her.

“Some how she looks so familiar,” thought Ranma.

“Hey, you can stop checking me out now!” said the girl.

Ranma shook his head and said “Hey, I wasn’t doing no such thing!”

“If not, then why are ya blushing?” Asked the girl.

He began to blush even more as the girl giggled. Suddenly, Ranma realized he didn’t have much time to get to school. He took the girl’s hand and ran.

“Hey! Wha...” said the girl, but that’s all she could say.

“We don’t have time! School’s gonna start any minute!” said the martial artist as he ran.

In class, the girl stood in front of the class as everyone stared. She gave a simple smile to everyone, which made the guys really happy. Ukyo and Akane looked at Ranma as he kept looking at the girl.

“She look real familiar but where have I seen her,” thought the pigtail boy.

“Hey, Ran-chan, whatcha looking at the girl so much. You better no like her. You have me for that,” said Ukyo.

“Aw, Ukyo, it ain’t nothing like that,” replied Ranma.

“Humph, yeah right,” said Akane crossing her arms.

“And you can shut up!” said Ranma looking at Akane.

They were about to get in a brawl until the teacher gave them a glare.

“Anyway, students, meet Karina Yamada.” Said the teacher.

“Hi,” said the girl with a sweet, flirty smile and wink. “Like the teacher said, I’m Karina Yamada. My old man and I moved from the mountains in China.”

“Wait a minute, Karina…” said Ranma quietly.

Suddenly, Ranma got out of his seat and looked at Karina with wide eyes.

“I can’t believe it! It’s you!” said the martial artist as he pointed at the violet hair girl.

“Huh? What is it, Ranma?” Asked Akane looking concern.

“Ranma? Ranma Saotome? Horse boy!” said Karina smiling widely.

“It is you, mountain girl!” replied the pigtail boy.

Ranma ran to the girl and they embrace leaving the class very puzzled. Akane and Ukyo wondered who the girl was. She looked innocent enough. As Ranma looked at Karina, she went up and kissed him passionately. It left everyone (even Ranma) shocked.
