Book 36 of
the Ranma ˝ Manga went off pretty much the same way Rumiko Takahashi wrote. Since
Ranma was still recovering from his injuries, he was down to what would be his
‘regular’ power level. In Books 37 and
38, the battle with Saffron went much the same way. The only exception being, that when Saffron pissed Ranma off: Can you say Saffron Chop Suey? Sure I knew you could.
The failed wedding was a whole
different matter, because Pan was definitely going to be there, but that’s
another story…
